Strong Arm Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Police Department's Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating a man who assaulted and robbed a visitor to Miami last November. 

Investigators say that, Jaime Urdaneta, who was visiting Miami from Venezuela, was returning to his vehicle after working out at a gym on West Flagler Street on the afternoon of November 15, when the subject accosted him. Urdaneta was hit from behind and then poked in the eyes when he turned around. The subject snatched a gold chain from around the victim's neck and fled on foot.  

Urdaneta was not seriously injured during the incident.
