Traffic Crash

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit, is investigating a traffic crash that that left two juveniles in critical condition.

According to investigators, the Golf Cart was traveling westbound on S.W. 170 Street when the driver fail to stop at a stop sign and was struck by vehicle #2, traveling northbound on S.W. 79 Place. All occupants of the Golf Cart were ejected and vehicle #2 subsequently struck a fire hydrant.

The driver of the Golf Cart was transported to Jackson South Hospital in critical condition. The left rear passenger of the Golf Cart, Devon Bennar, was transported to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
