Traffic Crash Involving An Unmarked Police Vehicle |

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a traffic crash involving an unmarked police vehicle assigned to the Robbery Bureau. Investigators say that the unmarked police vehicle was traveling northbound on N.W. 27 Avenue. The civilian vehicle was traveling southbound on N.W. 27 Avenue. The civilian vehicle was attempting to make a left on N.W. 122 Street when both vehicles crashed at the intersection. Both officers inside the police vehicle were transported to the hospital due to leg injuries. The driver of the civilian vehicle was not transported and remained on the scene. The detectives were on routine patrol at the time of the crash. Officers are listed in stable conditions. No further information at this time.
