Traffic Fatality

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

Following the recovery of a submerged vehicle with two bodies inside, in the area of 268th Street and S.W. 107th Avenue, Traffic Homicide detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department have launched an investigation into what appears to have been a traffic crash.

The investigators have identified the vehicle, a red Toyota Corolla, to be the same car in which Brandon Arana and Alexandra Picon were last seen in on Sunday, just before when they were reported missing.

The vehicle, with the two deceased, will be taken to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation and for positive identification of the bodies.
