The Miami-Dade Police Department's, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a single vehicle fatality. Detectives say, a passerby was walking in the area NW 139 Street and NW 38 Avenue, when she observed a Chevy Tahoe crashed into a tree. She notified Miami-Opa-locka Executive Airport employees who in turn called 911. The City of Opa-locka Police Department responded to the scene as well as the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) personnel. MDFR pronounced the driver deceased on the scene. The investigation continues.
