The Unit also conducts proactive and undercover online investigations related to child pornography and solicitations of a child for a sex crime. Additionally, the ICAC Unit works closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a partner of the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force which is commonly known as Law Enforcement Against Child Harm Task Force, to teach children, parents and professionals how to keep young people safer while using the internet.

The SCCH serves as a centralized repository and resource to participants of the program by providing criminal intelligence and discernable trend information pertaining to sexual crimes. The SCCH also conducts data analysis to develop information to aid Bureau detectives and other law enforcement agencies in their investigations.
