Florida Foreign Trade Zone 281 (FTZ 281), approved by the U.S. Department of Commerce, is now open for business. FTZ 281, which encompasses most of Miami-Dade North of Southwest 8th Street, will enhance Miami-Dade County’s status as a center for international trade and commerce. The FTZ is expected to help stimulate economic growth through tax savings, benefitting importers/exporters, warehouse operators, manufacturers, and third party logistics providers. Please join Miami-Dade County and PortMiami officials on Friday, December 7, 2012, from 8:30 am – 10:30 am, in a comprehensive workshop to learn how the new FTZ will benefit local businesses. » RSVP
