| The Port of Miami supports a number of cooperative programs for port users to protect the environment through waste reduction and resource conservation. The Port conducts presentations, sponsors events and provides educational opportunities. Recently, the Port incorporated environmental education aspects into its restoration project at Oleta River State Park, where a restored trail will highlight coastal ecology issues.
