The Port of Miami is proud to welcome the Norwegian Sky to its 2008 cruise line-up.  Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) will reflag and rename the Pride of Aloha and launch the ship as Norwegian Sky.

The Norwegian Sky will depart Miami on Mondays sailing four-day Bahamas cruises with full day stops in grand Bahamas Island, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas.  On Fridays, the ship will sail a weekend getaway three-day Bahamas itinerary.

“We look forward to welcoming the Norwegian Sky to the Cruise Capital of the World,” said Bill Johnson, Port of Miami Director. “This new addition to our cruise line-up represents approximately 400,000 passengers to our annual count and an estimated $4.4 million in annual revenues.  We are extremely proud of this accomplishment and look forward to continued partnership with NCL.”
