• Upon entering this Port of Miami Restricted Access Area, you are subject to a search of your person, vehicle, and any container in your possession.
• Government issued photo identification is required at all times.
• Possessing a firearm or any other weapon is strictly prohibited. Offenders are subject to arrest and penalty of one year in jail and fine.

Security Gate
The cargo and security gate complex, currently in the final construction stages, will function as the security control point for entering the cargo area. The gate complex will soon open with 16 lanes - 10 in and 6 out. Security personnel will staff three of the inbound and two of the outbound gates. The truck gates will have interactive consoles providing verbal contact, when necessary, between the driver and the control tower, and entry ticket dispensers.
