Arsht Center for the Performing Arts

The public art installations at Arsht Center for the Performing Arts exemplify some of the most successful public art projects in recent years. The art is inviting and accessible, without compromising artistic integrity. It is site specific, embedded in the architecture and landscape of the Center. It is innovative and reflects the highest level of aesthetic qualitites. It resonates to the sites overall atmosphere, enriching and enlivening the space. It is perhaps, most noticeably, undeniably Miami.

On October 5, 2006, Miami-Dade Art in Public Places celebrated the completion of seven monumental public art projects at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Over the past decade, artists José Bedia, Cundo Bermudez, Gary Moore, Anna Valentina Murch, and Robert Rahway Zakanitch have worked closely with Art in Public Places staff and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects to create installations integral to the architecture and site.
