This mural, painted in Young’s swift gestural style, celebrates the contributions of construction workers, bricklayers, steelworkers, carpenters and others in building Miami’s transit system. Young pursues his personal artistic vision drawing extensively on the realities of growing up and living in Overtown, an African-American neighborhood near downtown Miami.
