Dedication to celebrate completion of Bear Cut, West Bridges, and improvements to bicycle safety along Rickenbacker Causeway on October 25


(MIAMI, October 22, 2014) – On Saturday, October 25, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, the office of Chairwoman Rebeca Sosa, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Miami-Dade Public Works and Waste Management (PWWM) and Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Departments will host a dedication ceremony to celebrate the completion of the construction project on the Rickenbacker Causeway.  The project included rehabilitation of the Bear Cut and West Bridges, and improvements to bicycle and pedestrian safety along the Rickenbacker Causeway.

It is the policy of Miami-Dade County to comply with all of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The facility is accessible. For sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices or materials in accessible format, please call 305-375-4662 at least five days in advance.
