SW 38th Street from SW 75th Avenue to South Lake Drive and SW 73rd Court from SW 38th Street to SW 37th Street  Public Works Project No. 20100685: Work under this Contract shall include, but is not limited to the following: Furnishing all supervision, labor materials, equipment and tools and performing all operations necessary for the construction and installation of drainage structures, french drains, miscellaneous drainage improvements, grading, sodding and miscellaneous roadway restoration. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. No mainline road closing foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary.

SW 42nd Avenue (Le Jeune Road) from US-1 to Ingraham Terrace
Public Works Project No. 20090107:
The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: adjustment of valve boxes and manholes; milling and resurfacing; and pavement markings. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. Mainline Closure: This is a moving operation and temporary lane closures will impact traffic at times.  Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

SW 57 Avenue from SW 80th Street to SW 74th Street
Public Works Project No. 20090313:
  This project is to improve the drainage along SW 57th Avenue from SW 80th Street to SW 74th Street.  This project is being conducted as a result of documented flooding in this vicinity.  This project includes the construction and installation of drainage structures, exfiltration drains, miscellaneous drainage improvements, grading, sodding and miscellaneous roadway restoration including curb and gutter, and sidewalks as needed. Construction is anticipated to be completed by December 31, 2011.  Mainline Closure: These improvements will require the closure of SW 57th Avenue from SW 80th Street to SW 72th Street.  The contractor will maintain all driveways accessible that are on SW 57th Avenue within the limits of the project.  SW 57th Avenue will be open to "Local Traffic Only." Detour: The first closure will occur between SW 80th Street and SW 76th Street. The detour will be east to SW 56th Avenue and north to SW 76th Street and back to SW 57th Avenue. The second closure will occur between SW 76th Street and SW 74th Street. Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

Coral Gables Waterway Bank Stabilization Project - Phase VIII; SW 67th Avenue to SW 75th Avenue from SW 57th Avenue to SW 64th Avenue 
Public Works Project No. 2010507:
Work under this Contract shall include, but is not limited to performing all operations necessary for the restoration of degraded canal embankments along the canal's right-of-way or maintenance easements. Work may include but shall not be limited to one or all of the following general tasks: Clearing, grading, excavating, placement of backfill, installation of riprap boulders and or sand cement riprap, repairs to drainage outfall headwalls, installation of miscellaneous drainage structures, relocation and repair to existing guardrail and sodding as needed.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.  No mainline road closing foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary.

Public Works Project No. 20060469:
  Will improve safety, mobility and access with the addition of traffic calming improvements, lighting, sidewalks, drainage system on-street parking, school bus loading zone and landscaping.  This roadway construction project along 62 Avenue from NW 7th Street to SW 24th Street (Coral Way), half of the road is closed while the drainage is installed.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by May 31, 2011. Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or follow maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

SW 62nd Avenue from SW 64th Street to SW 70th Street
Public Works Project No. 20090095:
  Traffic Operational Improvements on SW 62nd Avenue from SW 64th Street to SW 70th Street.  This roadway improvement project include total reconstruction of the traffic lanes with a center median that contains left turn bays, bike lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk, continuous drainage system, pavement markings & signage, and signalization.  The westside of the roadway is closed during Phase I of the project for the install the drainage system.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.  Mainline Closure:  Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or follow maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

SW 65th Avenue from SW 24th to SW 36th Street and SW 36th Street from SW 67th Avenue to North Waterway Drive

CRS-RL Lormar Sub-Division Drainage Improvement Project
Public Works Project No. 20100660:
Work under this contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, material, equipment and tools to perform all the necessary drainage improvements in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to installation of an Exfiltration system to alleviate flooding problems within the project boundaries. Additional ancillary work includes sidewalk construction, sodding and miscellaneous roadway restoration. These drainage improvements will take place within the following areas: Site #1 SW 147th Avenue from SW 88th Street to 90th Street. Site #2 and #3 SW 96th Terrace to SW 101st Street from SW 146th Avenue to SW 147th Avenue. Construction is anticipated to be completed by December 31, 2011. Mainline Closure: Temporary and partial closure of lanes along 147th Avenue from SW 88th Street to 90th St will impact traffic at times.  Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or follow maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour signs.

SW 152nd Street And SW 117th Avenue
Public Works Project No. 20090356:
  Will improve safety traffic conditions at SW 152nd Street and SW 117th Avenue.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by August 31, 2011.  Working Hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.  No mainline road closing foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary.

SW 157 Avenue and SW 12 Street
Public Works Project No. 20100613:
Work included in this contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and tools and performing all operations necessary for the construction and installation of a two (2) lane roadway segment including milling & resurfacing, drainage, sidewalks, curb & gutter, guardrail, pavement marking & signage, and sodding. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.

Oakbrook Drainage Improvement Project Phase I, II, and III - SW 160 Street to SW 180 Street from SW 102 Avenue to SW 112 Avenue

Work under this Contract shall include, but is not limited to, the following:  Furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and tools and performing all operations necessary for the construction and installation of drainage structures, French drains, miscellaneous drainage improvements, grading, sodding and miscellaneous roadway restoration, including construction of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks where needed, in accordance with the construction plans and specifications contained herein. Construction is anticipated to be completed by August 31, 2011.

SW 184th Street from SW 137th Avenue to SW 147th Avenue
Public Works Project No. 20100394:
  This roadway improvement project includes the constructing of a five lane roadway including center turn lane, sidewalk, curb and gutter, continuous storm drainage system, roadway lighting, signage, traffic signalization, 24-inch and 16-inch water mains, and 24-inch force main.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by January 31, 2012.  Mainline Closure:  Motorists are advised to expect delays, seek alternate routes or follow maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

Old Cutler Road Bike Path Phase I from SW 216 Street to SW 63rd Avenue
Public Works Project No. 20090238:
The Old Cutler Road Bike Path project will re-construct approximately 6 miles of 8-foot-wide Bike Path along historic Old Cutler Road from SW 216th Street to SW 67th Street. The work includes, but is not limited to, curb and gutter; installation of remedial drainage along the corridor as necessary; relocate and/or resurface segments of the Bike Path; prune tree roots and place root barriers to prevent future damage to the Bike Path; install 6' high fence adjacent to environmentally protected areas; construct eight (8) trail turn outs along the path; and install traffic signs and pavement markings for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.

SW 260 Street from SW 139 Avenue to SW 139 Court
Public Works Project No. 20100686: 
The design of the above site shall include, but is not limited to, all operations necessary to raise the area's drainage to meet County standards.  The work shall consist of installing drainage structures, exfiltration drains, grading, sodding and roadway restoration, including construction of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks, as applicable, where drainage was installed. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.

Venetian Causeway Bridges Rehabilitation Project
Public Works Project No. 20070776: 
The twelve (12) existing bridges are located Venetian Causeway, between North Bayshore Drive and Purdy Avenue will be rehabilitated.  Two (2) of these twelve (12) bridges are bascule spans.  These repairs include the arch beams, deck slabs, diaphragms and piers. The project once completed will eliminate the loading restriction for vehicular traffic and enhance safety for the public and marine traffic. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.  Mainline Closure Temporary lane closure along the Venetian Causeway will be in effect while the contractor continues to rehabilitate the twelve bridges.   No mainline road closing are foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary. 

Venetian Causeway Streetscape Improvement Project
Public Works Project No.
20100522:  The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, roadway improvements, sidewalks, curb & gutter, raised landscape median, continuous bike lanes, parallel parking, drainage improvements, pavement markings & signing, traffic signalization, decorative roadway lighting, island entry signs and tree planting. No mainline road closing are foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary. Construction is anticipated to be completed by January 31, 2012. 

NE 15th Avenue from NE 159th Street to NE 186th Streets
Public Works Project No. 20090314:
  Will improve safety traffic conditions at NE 15th Avenue Between NE 159th And 186th Streets.  Working Hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.  No mainline road closing foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. 

NE 16th Avenue from NE 123rd Street to NE 135 Street
Public Works Project No. 20090107:
The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: adjustment of valve boxes and manholes; milling and resurfacing; and pavement markings. Public Works Project No. 20100684:

Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. Floral Park Drainage Improvement Project
Public Works Project No. 20100653:
  This Drainage Improvement Project includes the construction and installation of drainage structures, french drains, miscellaneous drainage improvements, grading, sodding and miscellaneous roadway restoration including curb and gutters and sidewalks in accordance to the construction plans. These drainage improvements will take place within NW 17th Avenue to NW 22nd Avenue from NW 61st Street to NW 54th Street. Construction is anticipated to be completed by November 11, 2011. Mainline Closure: The majority of the work will require temporary and partial closure of roads. Also, some temporary and total closure are scheduled, however local access to neighboring properties and residences will be maintained at all times while roadway restoration is ongoing. Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or follow maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour signs.

NW 17 Avenue between NW 28 Street and NW 35 Street

NW 58th Street and NW 87th Avenue - Generator Enclosure
Public Works Project No. 20100601:
Work under this contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools and performing all operations required to construct the work in accordance with the contract documents.  The construction includes but is not limited to the building, cast in place concrete, site preparation (including excavation and related earthwork), the relocation of underground utilities pipes, reinforced concrete walls, foundations and architectural components and the relocation of the existing generator. No mainline road closing are foreseen, therefore no alternate route is necessary. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.

NW 77th Avenue to NW 87th Avenue between NW 170th Street to NW 186th Street
Public Works Project No. 20100388:
The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: adjustment of valve boxes and manholes; milling and resurfacing; and pavement markings. NW 138th Street Bridge over the Miami River Canal from NW 113 Avenue to Okeechobee Road
Public Works Project No. 20090024:
The scope of work consist of, but not limited to, furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools.  The project consists of replacing the existing bridge with a new and wider bridge; turn lane improvements and replace existing signal at the intersection of Okeechobee Road and NW 138 Street. Work also includes a striped median with a center left turn lane, sidewalks, a continuous storm drainage system, roadway lighting, signalization, pavement markings and signage. Construction is anticipated to be completed by April 30, 2012. Mainline Closure: The bridge will be closed for the duration of the construction.  Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

NW 151st Street from South Biscayne River Drive to I-95
Public Works Project No. 20100427:
The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: adjustment of valve boxes and manholes; milling and resurfacing; and pavement markings. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. San Simeon Way from NE 215 Street to NE 205 Street
Public Works Project No. 20100599:  Work includes but is not limited to the installation of drainage structures to alleviate flooding problems within the project boundaries caused by an ineffective drainage infrastructure.  Proposed work includes the construction of an Exfiltration system to fully retain on site a 10-year storm event which is the design storm for arterial roads. Additional ancillary work includes construction and installation of drainage structures, French drains, miscellaneous drainage improvements, grading, sodding, and miscellaneous roadway restoration in accordance with the construction plans. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011. Detour: Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs or detour route.

Public Works Project No. 20100533:
The scope of work includes but is not limited to milling, resurfacing, striping, installation of signs, upgrading pedestrian ramps and connectors to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) standards, upgrading damaged or outdated guardrails, and eliminating potential hazards along the specific corridors. In addition, pedestrian crossings will be upgraded to include pedestrian signal countdowns, push buttons and signs, as needed. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.  Mainline Closure: The milling and resurfacing portion is a moving operation and temporary lane closures will impact traffic at times.  Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs.

SW 112th Street from SW 147th Avenue to SW 137th Avenue

The scope of work includes but is not limited to milling, resurfacing, striping, installation of signs, upgrading pedestrian ramps and connectors to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) standards, upgrading damaged or outdated guardrails, and eliminating potential hazards along the specific corridors. In addition, pedestrian crossings will be upgraded to include pedestrian signal countdowns, push buttons and signs, as needed. Construction is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2011.  Mainline Closure: The milling and resurfacing portion is a moving operation and temporary lane closures will impact traffic at times.  Motorists are advised to seek alternate route or follow posted maintenance of traffic (MOT) signs.
