No Miami-Dade County curbside garbage and trash collection services on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday

(MIAMI, January 18, 2013) – Customers of the Miami-Dade County Department of Public Works and Waste Management should note that in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, there will be no curbside garbage or trash collection services provided by Miami-Dade County on Monday, January 21, 2013.

The Department’s Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers, Regional Transfer Stations and Administrative Offices will also be closed on Monday, January 21st.

However, please note curbside recycling services will be provided for Miami-Dade recycling customers whose every-other-week recycling collection day falls on Monday, January 21, 2013.

The Department's Resources Recovery Facility, North Dade Landfill and South Dade Landfill will be open January 21st and observe their normal hours of operation.
