Traffic advisory: Traffic signal outage results in delays at the intersection of N.W. 87 Avenue and N.W. 74 Street

(MIAMI, December 15, 2014) – The Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) is advising motorists of a traffic signal outage at the intersection of N.W. 87 Avenue and N.W. 74 Street.  Motorists traveling through this intersection should expect lengthy delays and exercise caution. Traffic is being controlled using a four-way stop sign.  To avoid delays, motorists should use N.W. 58 Street for east-west travel.

Damage to the signal was the result of an earlier traffic incident which pulled down the mast arm.  Repairs to the mast arm must be closely coordinated with FPL due to the signal’s close proximity to several overhead power lines.
