Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday service schedule for the Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department
(MIAMI, January 12, 2015) – Customers of the Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) should note the following schedule for services during the upcoming Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday:
- There will be NO curbside garbage or trash collection services provided by Miami-Dade County on Monday, January 19, 2015.
- Curbside recycling services WILL be provided for Miami-Dade recycling customers whose every-other-week recycling collection day falls on Monday, January 19, 2015.
- The Department’s Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers, Regional Transfer Stations and Administrative Offices will be CLOSED on Monday, January 19th.
- The Department's Resources Recovery Facility, North Dade Landfill and South Dade Landfill will be OPEN January 19th and will observe their normal hours of operation.
