Existing Annual Plans will expire on April 30, 2014.
Starting April 1, 2014, new requirements will be in place for the Venetian Commuter Annual Plans. In order to obtain or renew the commuter plan at the Venetian Causeway, you must either be a resident of or employed on one of the Venetian Islands.
To renew your annual plan, submit proof of residency or employment; a copy of your current vehicle registration; and the $90 fee.
To document residency, acceptable documents include:
- Residential lease for a term of at least six months;
- Utility bill, such as water or electricity, for service to the property in the name of the resident;
- Voter's registration card; or
- State of Florida Driver License, dated 2010 or later.
To document employment, acceptable documents include:
- W-2 form from the Venetian Island employer; or
- Check stub from the Venetian Island employer.
The Venetian Commuter Plan is available for two-axle non-commercial vehicles only.
If you no longer need the annual plan or are not eligible to renew the plan, please return your device to the Venetian Toll Plaza Office to obtain a refund.
Should you have any questions regarding the annual plans or the renewal process, call 305-579-5436.
The Venetian Causeway Toll Plaza will soon be converted to allow SunPass. Annual Plans will continue to be offered and administered by the County; however, everyone will be required to have a SunPass transponder.
More information about this transition will be provided.
