Community Action and Human Services Department to recognize retired & senior volunteers
Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD), Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will celebrate its 36th Annual Volunteer Recognition Event at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Miami Dade College’s North Campus
Through RSVP, volunteers ages 55 and older serve to meet local needs in education, disaster services, healthy futures, veterans and military families and other community priorities. RSVP is funded through the Corporation for National and Community Services (CNCS) Senior Corps, a network of national, state and community service programs. Each year, CNCS supports the community engagement of over 300 senior volunteers from CAHSD.
