Volunteer as a Master Gardener for Miami-Dade Extension

MIAMI (July 23, 2015)

The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension in partnership with the University of Florida/IFAS is hosting two preview sessions about the Master Gardener volunteer program on Friday, August 7 at 1 p.m. and Wednesday, August 12 at 3 p.m. at the UF/Miami-Dade County Extension office at 18710 SW 288 St., Homestead.

Do you have spare time to volunteer? Do you like plants and want to learn more about gardening? Do you like to help others by sharing your gardening knowledge? Become a Master Gardener volunteer for Miami-Dade County Extension! Join this elite group of dedicated gardeners who help others solve their plant problems.

No registration is needed.  Each preview session will cover what the Master Gardener program is about, when the classes will be taught, the requirements to become a certified Master Gardener, volunteering opportunities, and we’ll briefly interview you afterwards.

This is for Miami-Dade County residents only.
