More than 4,000 Miami-Dade Parks summer campers to join in fun and games during four-day "End-of-Summer Bash"
July 28-31 at the Tropical Park Equestrian Center
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will host its annual “End of Summer Bash” for more than 4,000 children, ages 6-14, registered in its Summer Camps, Tuesday - Friday, July 28-31, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Tropical Park Equestrian Center, 7900 SW 40 St., Miami. Each day of the four-day celebration will host a different age group and engage them in a variety of fun and games, such as Quick Start Tennis, S.N.A.G. golf (Starting New At Golf), tug-of-war, flag football, and kickball. There will also be four cool and exciting waterslides for kids to enjoy: Ride the Wave; 14-ft. Dual Lane Obstacle; 16-ft. Typhoon; and Dual Threat.
Schedule by age group:
- Tuesday, July 28 - Teens (ages 12-14)
- Wednesday, July 29 - Jr. Teens (ages 10-11)
- Thursday, July 30 - “Shorties” (ages 6-7)
- Friday, July 31- Juniors (ages 8-9)
