This training will provide information and resources to county certified small firms interested in bidding on pump station improvement, upgrades, replacement, and maintenance projects. Presentations will focus on technical education, MCC 7040, invoicing and submittals, and procurement and construction contracting processes.

“I remain committed to ensuring that our local business community has every opportunity to participate in our Capital Improvement Projects,” says WASD Director Lester Sola, “I encourage local firms to come out and get as much information and guidance as possible.”

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) has been designed to address aging infrastructure, comply with regulatory requirements and support economic growth, while still keeping utility rates competitive with rates elsewhere in Florida and across the nation. To sign up for the workshop, please visit
