Fans of Miami Big Sound Orchestra know it as “downtown Miami's resident Latin Jazz big band”.  Formed in 2006, the 18-piece band is a collaboration of veteran Miami musicians who have performed and toured with many internationally-acclaimed music artists such as Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Tito Nieves, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, and Chaka Khan. Their sound is an eclectic and tantalizing fusion of 21st century big band jazz with funk, soul, and Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms. Their powerhouse repertoire includes a number of Latin jazz classics by Ray Barretto, Machito, Willy Rosario, Paquito D'Rivera, Irakere, and Tito Puente; along with originals by Grammy-Award winning producer Chino Nunez, South Florida jazz legend Tom McCormick, and famed Miami bassist/composer Rafael "Cali" Valencia.  Watch them perform here.

The 2015-2016 Stars at the Park Noches Tropicales™ concerts at Tropical Park will be sponsored by Target. The concerts start at 8 p.m., as scheduled:

• Dec. 4 - American Grammy winner Marlow Rosado and La Riqueña band
