UPS Day of Service to enhance tree canopy at Amelia Earhart Bark Park

Check presentation by The UPS Foundation to the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, Vice Chairman Esteban Bovo, Jr., and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dennis C. Moss will kick-off the day of service

MIAMI (October 08, 2015)

The UPS Foundation will host a tree planting and an employee volunteer day of service at Amelia Earhart Park on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 8 a.m., as part of their commitment to support environmental efforts in the communities they serve. The UPS Foundation granted $25K to the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and its Million Trees Miami Fund to establish a shade tree canopy at Amelia Earhart Bark Park, advancing Million Trees Miami’s goal to plant one million trees by 2020. A check presentation will start the event. Employees will plant trees and participate in other beautifying service projects.
