Tomorrow is Election Day
in the cities of Hialeah, Homestead, Miami and Miami Beach
The Miami-Dade County Elections Department wants to ensure voters in the cities of Hialeah, Homestead, Miami (districts 1 & 2 only) and Miami Beach Know Where To Vote before heading to the polls on Election Day.
Miami-Dade County recently made precinct changes in order to improve the voter’s experience. As a result, some voters have been assigned to a new Election Day voting location.
All voters have been informed of these changes by mail, but before heading out tomorrow, voters are encouraged to confirm their voting location by:
• Reviewing their new Voter Information Card
• Visiting www.iamelectionready.org and clicking on “Find Your Precinct”
• Calling 3-1-1
• Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Voters must bring identification that contains a photo and their signature. Acceptable forms of ID can be found on the Elections Department website or by calling 3-1-1. If the voter does not have ID available, they will be asked to vote a provisional ballot.
