Trade delegation from Martinique to visit Miami-Dade County
The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, Economic Development and International Trade (EDIT) Unit, will host an in-bound business trade delegation from Martinique, from November 9 to 13, 2015. For the fifth consecutive year, EDIT is organizing meetings and assisting with on-site program planning for the Martinique trade delegation to facilitate business opportunities with their counterparts in Miami-Dade.
The Martinique in-bound mission coincides with French Week activities, and will also include business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking with local Miami-Dade businesses, organized tours of trade facilities, scheduled meetings with Economic Development Agencies and the Martinique Spice & French Fashion Show on November 12, which will be held at the Temple House in Miami Beach.
Martinique is one of the Windward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, which is located 1457 miles from Miami. In 2014 Martinique was ranked as Miami’s 99th trading partner with trade totaling $0.02 billion.
