Developer gives Miami-Dade County a new park

MIAMI (November 17, 2015)

The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department has been given a new fully-developed one-acre park, located at SW 82nd St. and SW 72nd Ave., Miami, courtesy of Mill Creek Residential Trust. The group whose parent company is Colonnade Owner at Dadeland, LLC, is the developer of adjacent residential buildings.

The park, named Modera Colonnade Park, features a playground, dog park, shade canopies, an open play area, site furniture, landscaping, and walkways. The donated land with amenities is valued at $1,034,964. A Special Taxing District has been established to maintain the park.
