Today, November 30, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, Chairman Jean Monestime, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Miami-Dade Public Works and Waste Management Department (PWWM) will host a ribbon-cutting and re-opening ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Miami Avenue Bridge Improvement Project. The project included replacing the old bridge surface with a new bike-friendly grating.
Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, District 5 Commissioner Bruno Barreiro, and officials from Miami-Dade County are scheduled to attend and expected to speak.
