Miami-Dade County Animal Services (Animal Services) will host a pet vaccine “Drive-Thru” day on Sunday, December 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter located at 7401 NW 74th Street, Miami FL 33166.
Animal Services will offer pet owners, free of cost, the DHPP vaccine that protects dogs from four diseases—distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvo. Cats will receive the FRCPC vaccine that protects them from four diseases—feline rhinotracheitis, calici, panleukopenia and chlamydia. Each vaccine normally costs $15.00.
Pet owners must present valid identification that reflects a Miami-Dade County address. All pets receiving a vaccine must be a minimum of eight weeks old and have on a leash and collar or be in a carrier.
