Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department breaks ground on new South Miami-Dade 36-inch water line Thursday, February 4th

MIAMI (February 02, 2016)

As the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) continues with its 20-year, $13.5 billion Capital Improvement Program (CIP) -- the largest in Miami-Dade County’s history -- the water and wastewater infrastructure throughout the County will be improved. One of these projects is the new South Miami-Dade 36-inch water transmission line. Once installed, this water main will provide better water pressure to the community and expand the reliability of the WASD’s distribution system in the area.

The pipeline will be installed along SW 152 Street between SW 112 and 137 Avenues.

It is the priority of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department to provide safe, reliable service to its customers. For additional information about Department services and programs, click here.
