Vote before the March 15, 2016 Presidential Preference Primary Election

Request a Vote by Mail Ballot by Tomorrow or Vote Early through Sunday

MIAMI (March 08, 2016)

The Miami-Dade Elections Department would like to remind all voters that the deadline to request a Vote by Mail Ballot for this election is tomorrow, March 9 at 5:00 pm.  Voters wishing to take advantage of Early Voting can go to any of the 20 conveniently located sites in Miami-Dade County through Sunday, March 13.  More than 130,000 voters have already participated in this election.

Important Reminders for voters who Vote by Mail:

  • To request a Vote by Mail Ballot, submit by tomorrow at 5:00 pm
  • You can do so by calling 311, online, email or fax (305-499-8401)
  • Return your ballot by mail or in person by the 7:00 pm deadline on Election Day to:
    • Miami-Dade Elections Department (Headquarters), 2700 NW 87 Avenue, Miami Florida 33172  
    • Miami-Dade Elections Department (Branch Office), 111 NW 1 Street, Miami, Florida 33128
  • Completed Ballots must be received by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15 to be accepted as valid
  • Ensure that you sign the inside of the red box on the outside of the return ballot envelope
  • Do not give your ballot to anyone who has not been properly authorized per Section 12-14 of the Code of Miami-Dade County
  • Postage is not necessary for countywide elections

  • All sites will be open through Sunday, March 13
