Transit services during the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run
Take Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover to the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Corportate Run that will take place tomorrow, April 28, 2016 in front of Bayfront Park. It’s the most convenient and economical way to get to the race.
Avoid the long lines at EASY Card ticket vending machines at Metrorail stations, race participants are encouraged to load an EASY Card or EASY Ticket prior to the event.
A regular one-way trip on Metrorail or Metrobus costs $2.25, and parking is available at all Metrorail stations for $4.50 per day.
EASY Cards and EASY Tickets are available at all ticket vending machines located at all Metrorail stations, at the Golden Glades Park and Ride lot, at the Omni and Aventura Mall bus terminals, and at EASY Card sales outlets located throughout Miami-Dade County.
Metrorail and Metromover Service
Metrorail will operate its regular weekday schedule, from 5 a.m. until midnight:
• Trains arrive approximately every 10 minutes between Palmetto and Earlington Heights Stations, and every 5 minutes between Earlington and Dadeland South Stations during weekday rush hours.
• Trains arrive approximately every 15 minutes between Palmetto and Earlington Heights Stations and every 7.5 minutes between Earlington and Dadeland South Stations during midday service.
• Trains arrive at approximately every 30 minutes between Palmetto and Earlington Heights Stations, and every 15 minutes between Earlington and Dadeland South Stations from about 7:30 to closing.
Metromover will operate its regular schedule, from 5 a.m. until midnight.
On April 28th, several bus routes will be detoured between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Those routes are: 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 21, 51, 77, 93, 120, 195, 207, 208, 277, C, S, and 95 Express. Buses that run on Biscayne Boulevard could be detoured as early as 1:30 p.m.
