Global Youth Service Day at the Deering Estate

MIAMI (April 04, 2016)

Global Youth Service Day is the world's largest service event! Join the #GYSD movement on Saturday, April 30th, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, at the Deering Estate. Volunteer activities include planting, removing invasive plants, landscaping and general site clean-up. Register for this project online. Global Youth Service Day isn’t just a day of service; it’s also a day to celebrate youth and the contributions they make to their communities throughout the year.

Together with Miami-Dade Parks, the Parks Foundation provides volunteer opportunities and hosts four signature clean-up and beautification projects a year, including Global Youth Service Day, across Miami-Dade County. You can also customize an event at a location of your choosing. For more information, please call 305-961-2781.
