Miami-Dade Transit services during Fourth of July holiday weekend
The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will provide regular weekday and weekend service on Friday, July 1, 2016, Saturday, July 2, 2016, and Sunday, July 3, 2016.
On Monday, during the Fourth of July holiday, Metrobus transportation services will run on a Sunday schedule. Metrorail and Metromover will also provide Sunday service levels on Monday, July 4, 2016.
Miami-Dade County recently joined Waze's Connected Citizens Program, becoming the first Coutny in Florida to do so. The program allows the local government to share in real-time information regarding traffic delays, such as scheduled road closures and Water and Sewer traffic emergency alerts. Users will be alerted this weekend on any scheduled road closures due to the Fourth of the July weekend.
