Crandon Golf presents "Miami Inner City Kids Day," August 17
120 local youth set to participate in innovative tennis and golf experience
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, Key Biscayne Tennis Association (KBTA), Miami Children’s Initiative, Key Biscayne Community Foundation (KBCF), Chief Press Foundation, and several local Key Biscayne businesses will join Arraya Tennis Academy and Crandon Golf Academy in hosting 120 local youth at “Miami Inner City Kids Day,” a fun day of tennis and golf activities on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne, 6700 Crandon Boulevard.
Arraya Tennis Academy and Crandon Golf Academy have created an innovative and highly successful multi-sport program for kids that that combines best practice methods and expert instruction in tennis and golf. Participants enjoy fun, action-packed, activities aimed at elevating their athletic abilities and innate skills around both sports.
The purpose of Miami Inner City Kids Day is to strengthen youth development through sports. The event invites youth, that would normally have little opportunity for such exposure to these sports, to spend the day at Crandon Golf and have a experience learning how to play tennis and golf.
