Transit services during Labor Day
On Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will run on a Sunday schedule during the Labor Day holiday.
Metrobus routes that provide only weekday service, such as the I-95 Express routes, will not run on Monday, Sept. 5.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: All administrative offices for the Department of Transportation and Public Works, including those for Golden Passport and Special Transportation Service (STS), will be closed on Monday during the holiday.
However, STS customers can still call the STS reservation number (305-871-1111) to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
To keep up with the latest information on transit services, the public can download the Miami-Dade Transit Tracker app for free on their iPhone or Android. Riders also can register to receive Rider Alerts. In addition, transit information is available via Facebook and Twitter.
Transit riders are encouraged to visit the DTPW’s Transit website for complete schedules, station maps and more. This website also can be used to plan a transit trip using the Google Trip Planner.
To speak with an agent, the public can call 305-891-3131, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on County-observed holidays, such as Labor Day.
