Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade announces new annual membership program, benefits and discounts

The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade announced its new annual membership program – Parks Passport, where members will receive discounts and benefits to Miami-Dade Parks and its programs, while contributing to their conservation and protection. 

Loyal park patrons can choose one of three Standard membership levels, ranging in price from $60-$175, or choose one of two Corporate membership levels for exclusive concierge services and increased member perks.  All Parks Passport members will receive 25% off admission to Miami-Dade Parks’ many attractions, including Zoo Miami, Deering Estate, Fruit & Spice Park and Miami EcoAdventures™, among other benefits.

“We wanted to create a loyalty program for our valued customers to receive added discounts and benefits, while also joining in our mission to ensure our parks, public lands and programs are protected and funded for future generations to enjoy,” said Miami-Dade Parks Director Jack Kardys.

Founded in 2004, the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.  Its mission is to foster a healthier, more livable and sustainable Miami-Dade community by providing year-round support for facilities and a multi-dimensional roster of programs through 270 parks serving children, adults and people with disabilities.  Through our corporate partnerships, membership campaigns, and fundraising initiatives, we support capital projects, scholarships for children’s programs, including swimming lessons, after-school and summer camps.
