Going Global workshop to educate businesses on import and export expansion to take place October 25

MIAMI (October 18, 2016)

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade along with Jean Monestime, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners, will host a free workshop on Tuesday, October 25, providing new opportunities for North Miami-Dade businesses as well as start-ups interested in expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Gwen Margolis Community Center.

Participants will hear from public- and private-sector industry experts who will share information on effective tools for strategies for global expansion, cultural and legal considerations, shipping and logistics documentation, regulatory compliance, payment methods and available trade financing.
