Transit service during Thanksgiving Day holiday

MIAMI (November 23, 2016)

Miami-Dade Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule tomorrow, Nov. 24, 2016 – Thanksgiving Day.

On Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, Miami-Dade Transit will provide regular weekday service, with the exception of service on Metrobus Route 95 Express from Golden Glades, which will be slightly less frequent.

On Friday, Nov. 25, Express bus service from Golden Glades will be the following:

  • Buses will run approximately every 10 to 15 minutes between Golden Glades and downtown Miami.
  • The first and last trips in the morning and the afternoon will leave as currently scheduled.
  • All trips to and from the Civic Center/VA Hospital, Miami Gardens Dr./Carol City, Aventura Mall and Earlington Heights/Doral will operate as scheduled, except for the 5:22 p.m. trip to Carol City, which will leave later at 5:27 p.m.

Regular weekend service will be provided on Saturday, Nov. 26, and Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016.
