Emergency water line repairs impact westbound traffic on Northeast 29th Street
Miami-Dade Water and Department (WASD) crews need to make emergency repairs to a six-inch water line on Northeast 29th Street between Northeast Second Avenue and North Miami Avenue. A leak was detected and as a result the westbound lanes of 29th Street will be closed to accommodate the repairs.
Westbound traffic will be rerouted by police in the area. The lanes are expected to reopen prior to Thursday morning’s rush hour drive. Commuters may wish to avoid the area until repairs are completed.
It is the priority of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department to provide safe, reliable service to its customers. For additional information about Department services and programs, visit the website.
