Spring camp at the Deering Estate
Join the Deering Estate in welcoming spring time and all that comes with it! At spring camp, children (ages 6-14) will spend the week discovering nature and exploring the natural environment. Campers will learn about Monarch butterflies and will plant milkweeds to help save these endangered species. Join us and help keep our spring blooming!
Spring camp will be held Monday – Friday, March 21-25, from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Late pick-up is available from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm for an additional charge. The cost is $188 for a five-day session. Register online or call 305-235-1668 ext. 233.
About the Deering Estate
The 450+ acre Deering Estate is an environmental, archaeological and historical preserve. From canoe tours to bird walks and guided nature hikes, the Deering Estate has diverse activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Estate is part of the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department, which manages the Estate on behalf of the State of Florida.
