New Friday farmer's market opens at Haulover Beach Park

MIAMI (January 03, 2017)

A new weekly farmer’s market debuts on Friday, January 6, 2017, from 2-7 p.m., at Bill Bird Marina at Haulover Beach Park, 10800 Collins Ave., Miami. Come enjoy the fun of healthy living at this family-style event, featuring fresh locally grown produce for purchase, a live DJ pop-up dance party, a bounce house for the kids, and more! Free parking will be provided at the marina.

The “Haulover Farmer’s Market” event is being sponsored by Miami Dade County, The Real Estate Club: M. Sadov P.A. and Capital Bank - Ft. Lauderdale.

The park and marina offer fun activities for all ages, year-round. Bring along a blanket or some lawn chairs and make a day of it. Take in some beachside kite-flying with the folks at Skyward Kites or get your “catch of the day” on a deep sea fishing excursion, as daily charters are available at the park’s marina.

For more information about the farmer’s market, call Liza Hernandez at 786-459-0787. For directions to Haulover Beach Park, call 305-947-3525 or visit the web page.
