Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust and West Perrine CDC Sponsor the 5th Annual MLK Business Expo

Free event for residents to showcase products and services in South Dade

MIAMI (January 10, 2017)

Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) and West Perrine Community Development Corporation (CDC) will host the 5th Annual MLK Business Expo Friday, January 13, 2017, from 6  p.m. - 9 p.m., at the Palmetto Bay Village Center, 18001 Old Cutler Road, Palmetto Bay, Florida 33157. 

This free community event will showcase nearly 100 businesses and provide residents with an opportunity to learn about different products and services from local small businesses in South Dade. Residents can also speak with government agencies and find out how to apply for a number of helpful services offered throughout the county. Live music, raffle giveaways, and refreshments will be available for attendees.

The expo is held in association with the West Perrine Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration.

Event supporters include Miami-Dade County Commissioners Daniella Levine Cava, District 8; Dennis C. Moss, District 9; Neighbors and Neighbors Association; South Florida Community Development Coalition; Young Professionals Network Miami; and Miami-Dade Black Affairs Advisory Board.
