Marathon runners to stay hydrated with Miami-Dade County's high quality H20
Staying hydrated is key when runners pound the pavement this Sunday during the Miami Marathon. Miami-Dade’s water is fresh, delicious and tested more than 210,000 each year. So whether you cross the finish line first or toward the end of the pack, you are already a winner by drinking Miami-Dade water.
This is the seventh year the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) has partnered with the Miami Marathon by providing its high quality drinking water to runners and walkers at 15 fire hydrant-connected water stations throughout the race.
Walkers, runners and cheering sections alike will quench their thirst by utilizing the water stations with disposable cups, rather than plastic water bottles - a greener alternative for the community.
WASD’s drinking water meets or exceeds all federal, state and local drinking water standards, so drink up with confidence.
It is the priority of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department to provide safe, reliable service to its customers. For additional information about Department services and programs, visit the website.
