Going Global Workshop to educate businesses on import and export expansion to take place January 31, 2017

MIAMI (January 27, 2017)

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, District 12, will host a free workshop on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, to educate businesses, including start-ups, interested in starting or expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Doral Government Center.

Participants will hear from public- and private-sector industry experts, who will share information on selecting foreign markets, shipping, logistics, legal considerations, regulatory compliance, export working capital and trade financing. Other workshops in the series will be offered at various locations across the County throughout the year.
