Get Early Bird discount for Miami EcoAdventures Summer Camps if registered by April 15

Exciting nature-based camps are packed with fun and in high-demand, so be sure to register your child before the early bird deadline!

MIAMI (March 21, 2017)

For outdoor-minded adventure-loving kids, the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is bringing back four exciting Miami EcoAdventures™ nature camps this summer that get them up-close to the wild side of county parks.  A 10% Early Bird Enrollment discount is being offered through April 15.  Parents are encouraged to register their child early, as registration slots will fill up quickly for these popular camps.

Camp Black Bear (Ages 6-14)
A.D. “Doug” Barnes Park Nature Center, 3401 SW 72 Ave., Miami, 305-662-4124.
Fees < Early Bird Registration (until April 15): $108/per camper/week; Regular Registration: $120/ camper; Sibling Discount: $108/additional child (1st child is full price); Extended Hours: $10/camper/ week, 7:30 a.m. early drop off and late-up pick-up until 6 p.m. Activities will include scientific experiments, environmental fieldtrips and outdoor sports.

Camp Manatee (Ages 6-14)
Greynolds Park Boathouse,17530 W Dixie Hwy., N. Miami Beach, 305-944-6111.
Fees < Early Bird Registration (until April 15): $108/per camper/week; Regular Registration: $120/ camper; Sibling Discount: $108/additional child (1st child is full price); Extended Hours: $10/camper/ week, 7:30 a.m. early drop off and late-up pick-up until 6 p.m.  Activities will focus on South Florida’s unique ecosystem and history with Greynolds Park as a back-drop for exploration and learning.

Camp on the Sea (Ages 12-15)

Fees < Early Bird Registration (until April 15): $144/per camper/week; Regular Registration: $160/camper; Sibling Discount: $144/additional child (1st child is full price); Extended Hours: $10/camper/ week, 7:30 a.m. early drop off and late-up pick-up until 6 p.m. Activities will include snorkel, kayak and canoe excursions.

Fishing Camp (Ages 9-14)

Fees < Early Bird Registration (until April 15): $144/per camper/week; Regular Registration: $160/ camper; Sibling Discount: $144/additional child (1st child is full price); Extended Hours: $10/camper/ week, 7:30 a.m. early drop off and late-up pick-up until 6 p.m. Activities are designed for fishing enthusiasts, with lessons in fish biology, safe boating and fishing trips.
