Miami-Dade County introduces Connect 305 interactive digital kiosks

MIAMI (May 01, 2017)

Tomorrow, May 2, 2017, Miami-Dade County will unveil the first of many Connect 305 interactive kiosks that will transform the way people can access County services and free Wi-Fi.

In a partnership with CIVIQ Smartscapes, up to 300 touch-screen, high-speed Wi-Fi kiosks will be deployed countywide to enhance residents' experience by providing easy access to communication networks and transit information, among other features.

In addition, this partnership will provide Miami-Dade County with more than 1,000 Wi-Fi devices that will provide free Wi-Fi on Metrobus, Metromover, and Metrorail vehicles, as well as at Metrorail and Metromover stations.
