Deering Estate participates in the 7th annual "Kids to Parks" Day

Celebrate our nation's parks and public lands by participating in the 7th annual Kids to Parks™ (KTP) Day on Saturday, May 20th. This national movement, organized by the National Park Trust, encourages children across the country to explore their neighborhood parks and discover science, history, nature, and adventure. 

In celebration of Kids to Parks™ (KTP) Day, on Saturday, May 20th the Deering Estate will offer a free child admission with a paid adult admission. Children can also have fun exploring and learning by participating in the following scavenger hunts!

Deering Estate Scavenger Hunt
Explore the architecture of the Historic Homes and other items found in the surrounding areas.

Butterflies of Deering Estate Scavenger Hunt
Explore the grounds while you look for the beautiful, colorful butterflies that make the Estate their home.

Deering Spring Contemporary - Platform "450" Scavenger Hunt
Look for site specific works produced through a range of multidisciplinary art practices presented by more than two dozen notable contemporary artists.
