Going Global Workshop and Career Expo to educate businesses and individuals on importing and exporting to take place May 9, 2017

MIAMI (May 02, 2017)

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ Office of Economic Development and International Trade, in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson, District 3, will host a free workshop and career expo on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, to educate businesses, as well as start-ups interested in starting or expanding their import and export operations. This workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Audrey M. Edmonson Transit Village's Sandrell Rivers Theater.

Participants will hear from public- and private-sector industry experts, who will share information on selecting strategies for global expansion, regulatory compliance, shipping and logistics documentation, and trade financing. Other workshops in the series will be offered at various locations across the County throughout the year.
