Mayor Gimenez to host press conference regarding Miami-Dade County hurricane preparedness effort

MIAMI (May 31, 2017)

Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez will be hosting the annual hurricane preparedness press conference just as the season begins, on June 1, at 1 p.m. at the HistoryMiami museum (101 W. Flagler St.). Chairman Esteban Bovo, members of the Board of County Commissioners, and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Emergency Management will join Mayor Gimenez in explaining the County’s efforts to prepare for the upcoming Hurricane Season, which runs through November 30.
